How to order
  • If you’re travelling cross border within 60 days* and have your ID document / passport and travel ticket where applicable, you can place your foreign currency order at your nearest in-branch forex outlet.
  • Complete the travel form and present the original form together with your passport and travel ticket at any one of our Forex outlets for assistance
  • You don’t need to have a bank account with us to order forex in-branch. However you’ll need to provide us with your original proof of residence not older than three months.
  • If you do bank with us and live in a major metro, you can in addition to the branch option, order forex via email and have it delivered to your business premises in 24 hours or 48 hours through our Direct Delivery service**.
  • And as a UCount Rewards member, you’ll earn 50 tiering points for buying R 7 500 worth of foreign notes in a 12-month period.

**Direct Delivery is offered only on  Professional, Prestige, Private and Signature accounts

To collect
  • You’ll be able to collect major currencies from us immediately at any forex outlet. Other currencies are available within 24 hours if ordered before 2pm.
  • We’ll need to see your ID, passport and travel ticket.
  • If you’re driving beyond the common monetary area of SA, Namibia, Lesotho and Swaziland, you’ll need to tell us your vehicle registration number and which border posts you’ll be using.
