How do I ensure my solar panels are covered on my policy?
Inform Standard Bank Insurance Brokers of the addition of solar panels, any off-grid and electricity back-up systems to ensure you are adequately insured.
What information do I need before contacting my broker?
You need to provide us with the value of the items you are installing so we can include in your sum-insured, i.e., the overall amount your home is insured for, an invoice, COC (Certificate of Compliance) and any rental agreement.
Will I qualify for the tax incentive?
