Environmental, social and governance
Environmental, social and governance (ESG) risk management is embedded in our policies, processes, and governance structures. We carefully identify and manage environmental, social, and governance risks and opportunities throughout our operations and investments, ensuring we make responsible decisions.
We track and report on our ESG performance using a range of metrics, aligned with leading global frameworks and standards, including the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Paris Agreement, and the African Union's Agenda 2063. Our performance is assessed in terms of our positive impact on society and the environment, and our ability to effectively manage ESG risks.
