We’ve made this process simple by enabling you to create a seamless and secure connection between Standard Bank and your accounting software through our secure open banking standard API.
As soon as you’ve set up a bank feed, your transactional data is automatically imported effortlessly.

- A secure connection between your bank account and your accounting software
- Transactional history is automatically imported from your bank account into your accounting software daily – saving you valuable time
- Safe and secure connection managed by your consent without sharing your banking credentials
- No need to download your statements anymore, they are immediately shared with your accounting software provider
- A bank feed allows for your transactional data to be automatically imported from your bank account to your accounting service provider.
- It only needs to be set up once and once you provide consent, the automatic transfer of your transaction data will commence. This will continue until you revoke the consent you have given or unsubscribe from your accounting package.
- To ensure the safety and security of your data, you must have a strongly authenticated digital profile (done using DigiME ). This requires a non-password authentication login method using a QR code.
- Please note: At this time, you can only create a bank feed if you have a Sage Accounting package.
The connection is made within your Sage accounting platform.
- Go to your accounting software profile and go to Banking > Transactions > Manage Bank Feeds
- Follow the prompts
- Connect to Standard Bank and sign in using a securely authenticated QR code Follow the prompts to grant your consent (you can manage or revoke your consent at any time)
