This highly contemporary satire, penned by the prolific J.Bobs Tshabalala 2020 SBYA for Theatre, offers an incisive and entertaining exploration of the intricate relationships between politicians and businessmen in modern-day South Africa.

Khongolose Khommanding Khommissars delves into the deliberate and interconnected actions of contemporary South African political figures, unravelling the web of corruption that contributes to the country's current tumultuous political climate. The play exposes the elitist culture of greed perpetuated by the collusion between politicians and businessmen, all communicated through the clever use of "Comrade-speak" – a linguistic dance that reinforces the farce of promised socio-political revolution.

The cast, featuring acclaimed actors such as Lebohang Masimola, Xolile Benjamin Gama, Tshireletso Nkoane, Anelisa Phewa, and Moagi Benjamin Kai, brings to life the characters at the heart of this satire.
