Mr. Babatunde Majiyagbe is the Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Nominees Limited (subsidiary of Stanbic IBTC Bank PLC, a member of the Standard Bank Group and the first & largest asset custodian in Nigeria by Assets Under Custody). He is also a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Stanbic IBTC Asset Management Limited.

TMaj as he is fondly called has about 15 years’ experience in transactional banking, Information & Communications Technology (ICT), Finance reporting, Product Innovation, Product Development, Sales, Cash Management - with specialization in liquidity management, payments & working capital optimization. His technical skills have been instrumental in the implementation of complex working capital initiatives, delivery of electronic banking solutions using appropriate Project Management methodologies etc.

TMaj holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Managerial Psychology from the University of Lagos. He is an alumnus of the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from where he bagged a Certificate in Strategy & Innovation. TMaj holds a Certificate in International Cash Management from the Association of Corporate Treasurers, United Kingdom (CertICM) and has attended courses widely including the Product Innovation program at Harvard Business School (HBS) in Boston. He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT) UK and Institute of Directors (IOD). TMaj is currently a Council Member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS), a Capital Market Sponsored Individual of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and also the Publicity Secretary for the Association of Asset Custodians of Nigeria (AACN).

He is married and blessed with 2 sons. TMaj loves cycling, reading, walking, photography, adventures and hiking. He recently summited “Uhuru” on the top of Mountain Kilimanjaro; the highest peak in Africa.
