Reset your password
- To reset your ICN-linked password or memorable date:
- Navigate to this page
- You will need to enter your Internet Client Number and customer number to verify your identity
- Click confirm and then tick the box to change your password or memorable date
- Enter a new Password/Memorable Date and confirm
- Make a note of the request number and call our Personal Banking Team
- Alternatively, if you have not registered for we will call you within 48 working hours of receiving your request
Choosing a password
We adhere to the strictest internet security standards. Even through we use a dual factor authentication, a strong password is equally important to keeping your information secure.
When you register or change your Online Banking password, please remember that this must contain:
- A minimum of six characters
- A maximum of 16 characters
- At least two characters must be letters
- At least two characters must be numbers
- At least one character must be a capital letter
PLEASE NOTE: you cannot use a string of three consecutive or same numbers together, for example; 123, 321, 111, 876, 345
Your security token
We use a security token to authenticate all online payment instructions
- The token generates a random number linked to your Online Banking service
- You will need to enter this number when you are making or authorising an online payment
- The grey button must be on the left side of the token to read the numbers correctly
- Contact our Online Banking team during normal working hours if you are experiencing technical or other faults with your token
Create and register for an Online Banking Group
Create an Online Banking Group
- Complete the Group Agreement form that details the accounts to be included within the Group
- Send this to your relationship manager
Register for access to an Online Banking Group
- Contact us or your banking co-ordinator for your Online Banking Group number and name
- Select 'Register for OnlineBanking' on the top right of Home page
- Select 'New registration' on the left side of the new page
- Complete all fields
- Select the ‘Group Customer’ service and click 'continue' at the bottom of this page
- Enter the Online Banking Group number and name
- Select the appropriate user rights and Authorisation Level (if applicable) in accordance with your banking mandate and click 'Continue'
- If you have selected ‘View, Input & Authorise’ transaction rights, then this screen is to order the dual-factor security token
- Provide your delivery address and contact number to expedite delivery of your Security Token
- Click ‘Continue’
- Proceed to the Terms and Conditions page, which you will need to read and accept
- Click ‘Confirm’
Manage your Online Banking profile
To view and edit your profile:- Select ‘Profile & Settings’ once you are logged into Online Banking
- Click on ‘Edit’ on the right side of your profile
- Edit your information and click ‘Update’ to confirm the change or ‘Cancel’
User rights
Online Banking user access and signing rights are as follows:- View Only - The user may only view accounts within the Group
- View and Input - The user may view accounts and create payments and transfers
- View, Input and Authorise - The user may view accounts, create payments and transfers and authorise instructions
Where the accounts in the Group have a signatory list with “A” and “B” designations, users with authorisation rights must select the appropriate level.
Change user rights
If a user leaves or the company wishes to terminate a user’s rights an authorised signatory of the Group or company should notify their relationship manager.
- Log on as usual and click on ‘Profile’
- When you select ‘User Rights’, the user’s current rights are displayed
- Select the revised user rights and Authorisation Level (if applicable) in accordance with your banking mandate and click 'Continue'
- If you’ve selected ‘View, Input & Authorise’ transaction rights, and the user did not previously have authorisation rights, you will now be able to order the dual-factor Security Token
- The Security Token provides a secure ‘one-time’ password each time a payment is authorised
- Click ‘Continue’
- You will be presented with the Terms and Conditions page, which you will need to read and accept
- Click ‘Confirm’
This needs to be printed and signed, as well as counter-signed in accordance with your banking mandate. This must be returned to your Relationship Manager or emailed to [email protected]
